Learning-based Team
By setting up a curriculum focus group and allowing deep sharing and discussions among teachers, we seek to build a “Learning-based Team” that encourages collaborative lesson preparation, peer lesson observation, administrative lesson observation and evaluation meetings. These monitoring measures facilitate both individual and group learning, which in turns enhance teachers and our school education in the professional aspect. In the focus group meetings, all members can proactively share, review, and discuss the effectiveness of collaborative lesson preparation and the issues spotted during lesson observation. These meetings can build team spirit, trust and encourage sharing among teachers, and also promote teacher’s professional development. Through establishing a collaborative learning culture, we can carry out a systematic work cycle of “Plan, Implementation, Review, Re-plan”, and keep on optimizing our programs to meet educational targets.
